The YCAGA awards at least one $1000 scholarship to graduating high school seniors or a student enrolled in the Golf Course Management Course at York Technical Institue each year. A graduating high school senior is eligible for a scholarship if he has done as least one of the following:
- Participated on aYAIAA golf team - Played in YCJGA events - Participated in junior golf programs at any YCAGA member club - Been employed in a golf-related job at an YCAGA member club - Plans to attend any type of post-high school education - Is currently enrolled in the Golf Course Management Course at YTI
An applicant will be required to submit his high school transcript, cost of post-high school education, and an essay explaining why he is applying for this scholarship.
